Citizen's Fire Academy
The Bryant Fire Department (BFD) recognizes the importance of maintaining a close relationship with the citizens we serve. In an effort to further promote this relationship, the BFD has developed a program called the Citizen's Fire Academy (CFA). The CFA is designed to teach citizens about the many jobs the BFD does on a daily basis and to promote citizen interaction with the firefighters and leaders of the department.

The Citizens Fire Academy is a dynamic 10-week program designed to provide participants with an inside view of the organization and operations of the BFD. The curriculum includes live demonstrations, classroom learning and hands-on experiences all of which are designed to give the participant a true feel for the BFD. Best of all, the entire program is free and open to anyone 18-years-of-age or older who lives in Bryant. Four citizens from each of the four city wards will be selected to attend. The deadline for applications to be submitted will be June 15, 2016. If you are unsure of which city council ward you reside in, the information can be found by clicking on this link:

We look forward to this event and the opportunity to get to know the citizens we serve better.
