Class Descriptions: (the above classes begin on 8/01/2021)

Pilates Mat:

This class focuses on your core, while also working your arms, legs, and glutes. 

Pilates Mat will help build core strength, improve posture, increase flexibility, and tone your body while using the Principles of Pilates.

This is a low impact class and ideal for beginners and advanced.


Barre:

Barre workout incorporates concise isometric movements to develop long and lean muscles for everyone. We will work on stronger core, tighter glutes, leaner legs, and toner arms. It is a low impact class and ideal for beginners and advanced.


Yoga All-Levels:

This is an all-levels yoga class that will leave you feeling energized and relaxed. We will move through a series of stretches and yoga poses while linking breath and movement. This will help increase flexibility, mobility, and balance while calming your mind and body.

SILVER SPLASH CLASSES ARE CURRENTLY SUSPENDED

Class Descriptions 
SilverSneakers group exercise classes are appropriate for older adults who are fit and active as well as those who are sedentary, intimidated, unfamiliar with exercise, entering post-rehabilitation programs and ALL those who enjoy a positive, upbeat social environment.

SilverSneakers® I – Muscular Strength & Range of Movement
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance; and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support. This class is held in the Relyance Bank Fitness Room.

SilverSneakers® - Cardio Circuit Class Description 
Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching and relaxation exercises. This class is held in the Relyance Bank Fitness Room.

SilverSneakers® SilverSplash® Class Description 
Activate your aqua exercise urge for variety! SilverSplash® offers LOTS of fun and shallow water moves to improve agility, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. No swimming ability is required, and a special SilverSneakers® kickboard is used to develop strength, balance and coordination. This class is held in the Therapy Pool.
